Founder
Philip is committed to providing his clients what the industry is lacking: a financial professional who can offer a high level of service while still working in their best interest. Establishing a wealth management office allows him to give advice that’s relevant to each individual, rather than a static strategy.
Prior to founding Snyder Asset Management, LLC., Philip worked as a financial advisor for a Fortune 500 company. He assisted clients with their comprehensive financial planning needs, ranging from cash flow analysis to retirement planning, as well as wealth management. He then worked as an investment consultant at a brokerage firm where he focused on recommending investment strategies to help clients pursue their financial goals.
Philip is a graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder and a member of the Baltimore CFA Society.
Outside of work, Philip is an active volunteer at Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS). He also enjoys spending time with family, friends and his dogs (he has 4). Watching sports is another pastime of his—he’s a fan of the Ravens, Orioles and Terps. A few years ago, Philip joined a Crossfit Gym, which has been both fun and humbling.
Philip and his wife, Melanie, do their best to experience as many restaurants as possible in the Baltimore scene. Their favorite is the Food Market in Hampden.
